Maui - volcano

After the trip up and down the Hana road we decided to try and go up the volcano. It was supposed to be a very beautiful trip. The weather was unfortunately very clody so we were very anxious to see if there was anythting to see at all....and then suddenly we cleared the clouds!















It was a breathtaking sight! and the crater itself looked amazing!

Maui - Hana road

On the morning of the 25th we headed up the Hana road. It was a beautiful drive but also a very demanding one! I suddenly realized why they sell t-shirts with "I survived the road to Hana" printed on them!














We only drove a little over half the way to Hana, but that was the most beautiful part of the road and the most demanding one too. It took about 4-5 hours to go back and forth. I would advice others to do the same because you have to go the same way back as you came.




















But it sure was pretty!!

Sunset at Kauai

It was just beatiful and just before we saw some killer wales just off shore!

This very secluded beach in only reachable via a 8 mile long dirt road filled with holes, so it takes some time to get there.

Too big shore breaks to bathe but it sure was beautiful.

The cliffs indicates the portion of Kauai you can only reach by helicopter or boat.

San Fransisco!

The first couple of days of the Christmas hollidays we spent in San Fransisco.
I love that city!
Visited the submarine Pampatino and got me a new pair of Oakleys
